About The Ranch

Cottonwood tree on front lawn

Palisade River Ranch has almost a mile of Colorado Riverfront and spectacular views of the surrounding Book Cliffs and Grand Mesa. In addition to the accommodation and events business, hay is grown across much of the main part of the property and a 45-acre riparian woodland (the Island) is open to guests to explore and to spot birds and other wildlife. There is a large deck and gazebo situated between the river and two of the ranch's three ponds, a cottonwood grove along the riverbank and trails that loop around the property and the Island.

Palisade River Ranch sits amongst a variety of vineyards, orchards and other agricultural attractions, and is located adjacent to the Town of Palisade's Riverbend Park, which is off-leash dog friendly. With direct access to the Riverfront Trail and Fruit & Wine Byway, it is only a 10 minute cruise by bicycle along the river to Downtown Palisade, and a short walk to the venue for events such as Winefest, Bluegrass and Roots Festival, and the Peach Festival.
